CESVA verifies its Softwares for Windows 8 and it has new digitally signed driver for the instruments

Since late last year the new Microsoft operating system, Windows 8, is present on many computers, especially computers purchased from early 2013.

The Windows 8 introduced many new features, one of which is the inability to install devices without drivers with the corresponding digital signature.

This feature was optional in previous versions of the operating system such as Windows 7 or Windows Vista but in Windows 8 is enabled by default. It is also quite difficult to disable the mandatory use of signed drivers, which give many headaches to more than one user.

CESVA has tested its software with Windows 8, without find inconsistencies or gaps in performance.

It has also set a new single controller (driver) with digital signature to all instruments that communicate through USB port. This driver is only installed one time and is backward compatible for Windows OS: 7, Vista and XP.

The driver "USB driver" can be downloaded from the website of CESVA through "Drivers and protocols" option in the corresponding product page.
