CESVA has published on their website the “Software development Kit” for SC101 and SC102 sound level meters that allows programmers to develop software applications that interact in real time with the integrating sound level meters SC101 (class 1) and SC102 (class 2).

The software development kit includes: driver for Windows (XP, Vista and 7) both 32 and 64 bits, Installation Manual of the driver and the communication protocol of the instruments with a computer through the USB port.

The Sound Level Meters SC101 and SC102, though it were designed as a very economic instruments incorporate a mini-USB port for bidirectional communication and power supply that allows sending commands (play, stop, pause, identification) and to receive data in real time: LAT, LCT, LA1 "LC1" LCpeak and LAF, LAS and LCF with its highs and lows.

Already there are specific applications that have been developed around the world: terminals of continuous noise monitoring, quality control systems of production line, detection and alarm systems of excess noise, etc...
